The Canadian House of Traditional Chinese Medicine held the largest integrated Chinese and Western medicine clinic in Vancouver
On July 28, 2019, Vancouver’s sky was exceptionally clear and blue, and the horizon was dotted with white clouds, just like a huge velvet curtain with a skirt of white clouds covering the earth. In Burnaby Central Park, colorful flags are flying, and more than 100 rectangular tent booths are arranged on the oval red runway and emerald green grass, forming a huge sky circle pattern. The annual event in the city “Chinese Traditional Culture Festival and the 10th-Water Splashing Festival” was grandly held, gathering more than 25,000 people from all ethnic groups in Metro Vancouver to participate in this traditional culture festival.
This free consultation event is the largest integrated Chinese and Western medicine free consultation service in history, creating a new history with the largest scale, the largest number of booths, and the largest number of doctors. During the free consultation, the Chinese Consul General in Vancouver Tong Xiaoling, Deputy Consul General Wang Chengjun, Consul Hu Qiquan, Provincial Assemblyman Zhou Jionghua, Kang Anli, Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley, Acting Mayor Wang Baijin, Paul McDonell, and Hualian Association President Niu Hua came to visit one after another during the heat. All the staff highly appraise the contribution of the House of Traditional Chinese Medicine in serving the community and promoting Chinese culture. At the same time, we encourage members of the Canadian Family of Chinese Medicine to continue to work hard to develop and spread the culture of Chinese medicine, and to continue to provide better medical services to people of all ethnic groups.
This free consultation was supported and affirmed by the Canadian three-level government and the Chinese Consulate-General in Vancouver, which made these overseas Chinese medicine practitioners feel proud and strengthened their determination and confidence in inheriting, developing and innovating Chinese medicine. Although the free clinic has ended successfully, the Canadian House of Chinese Medicine’s belief in the development and revitalization of Chinese medicine will not stop, always on the way!
At 9 o’clock in the morning of the same day, Professor Li Ronggang, the founder of the Canadian House of Traditional Chinese Medicine, led a group of doctors in white coats into the venue early and arranged their booths nervously. In order to let more people understand the culture of traditional Chinese medicine and the advantages of the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, the House of Chinese Medicine specially organized 47 Chinese and Western doctors from Deyi Shuangxin and dozens of volunteers to participate in this free consultation. In the venue, 8 independent Chinese medicine free clinics with nearly 30 meters in length were specially opened. The scene was spacious and magnificent, which fully demonstrated the confidence, determination and strength of the Canadian Chinese Medicine House to inherit and develop Chinese medicine overseas.
After the opening ceremony of the conference ended, the Chinese and Western doctors of the Chinese Medicine House devoted themselves to the intense free clinic. The time is dormant, and the heat is hard to stop, but it is difficult to stop the enthusiasm of Chinese and Western medicine to serve the people. Under the scorching sun, 47 doctors and volunteers provided high-quality diagnosis, treatment and consultation services for more than 500 patients. The doctors not only prescribed prescriptions for the patients, but also gave him (her) advice on health care. Diet and exercise therapy prescriptions. At the same time, two patients with hidden tumors were also found, and the doctors reminded the patients to see a western doctor for diagnosis. The enthusiastic medical services and superb medical skills make the people come happily and return with satisfaction, allowing Canadian overseas Chinese and local people to learn more about the profound Chinese medicine culture and the magical curative effects of Chinese medicine.
